Schneider Xantrex
C-Series Controllers are appropriate for small to large sized system.
These controllers can be configured as load controllers. Xantrex C-series
controllers come with a two year warranty.
The Xantrex
C-12 a pulse-width modulation (PMW) charge controllers ideal for 12 V solar systems up to 12 amps and includes a 12 amp low
battery load disconnect. Features include fully adjustable set-points, LVD, and
over-current protection.
The C-35 is a
pulse-width modulation (PMW) charge controller with adjustable set-points and
can be used as a DC load controller as well.
The
C-40 and C-60 are appropriate for larger systems, and can be used either as
either a charge or load controller. The Xantrex C-40 and C-60 include
adjustable set points, over current protection and manual or auto equalize mode.
The DVM (Digital Voltage Meter) option adds a digital display of battery
voltage, charge current and cumulative amp hours from the solar array. The
optional BTS (Battery Temperature Sensor) adds temperature compensation to any
of these regulators.

Xantrex C12 Charge Controller
The C12
charge, lighting, or load controller is uniquely sophisticated. As a charge
controller, it features three-stage
charging, user definable voltage parameters, and automatic equalization.
Standard in the C12’s load control circuitry are field adjustable low voltage
disconnect and reconnect points, along with a five minute low battery disconnect
warning. The C12 also functions as a lighting controller. Lighting run time is
adjustable from 2 to 8 hours or can be set from dusk to dawn operation. An
optional battery temperature sensor ensures precise battery charging regardless
of battery temperature fluctuations.
Features:
-
Ensures your batteries are always charged Silent, pulse width modulated
microprocessor control (maximizing battery life)
-
Field
adjustable voltage and battery set points Electronic protection against
short-circuit, overload, over temperature and reverse polarity conditions
Xantrex C35, C40, C60 Charge Controllers
Xantrex Solar Charge Controller may be used for a charge controller or a diversion
controller but may be only used for one of those functions at a time.
All three of
these fully solid state, microprocessor-driven controllers are UL and CUL
listed. Whatever the charging source, a C Series controller is sure to meet your
DC controller needs.

Temperature Compensation
BTS/15 or
BTS/35 Monitors battery temperature and adjusts charging voltage for maximum
performance. A 15 ft. (4.5 m) or 35 ft. (11 m) cable with standard telephone
type connectors is included.
Xantrex Digital Meter
This is
a digital meter for Xantrex C35, C40, and C60 charge controllers.
CM, CMR/50,
CMR/100-A back-lit meter which continuously displays: battery voltage, DC
amperage, cumulative amp hours and amp hours since last reset. CM mounts on
front of C Series, C35, C40 and C60, charge controllers. The remote meters CMR/50
and CMR/100 use simple telephone type plug-in connectors. 50 ft. (15 m) or 100
ft. (30 m) cable included. If used with a wind turbine, this will only measure
voltage.
Xantrex Remote Display (CMR)
The same as the Digital meter
but ships with a matching length 100' of cable
Xantrex BTS Battery Temperature Sensor
Xantrex
Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) comes in a 15 ft. (4.5 m) or 35 ft. (11 m)
cable with standard telephone type connectors is included and is designed
for use with DR and UX Inverters and C Series Charge Controllers. The BTS mounts
on a terminal post of a battery in a bank or on the side of a battery and
measures its temperature. It sends precise information to the charger or charge
controller, which automatically adjusts voltage to ensure full battery charge
depending on the ambient temperature of your battery installation.
